Travel by Air

It’s one of the most pleasant ways of getting around. But the decision to travel within Germany by plane should be carefully considered. The reasons: while flying time between cities may be short, the time it takes to get to airports and the waiting periods once you’re there are significantly longer. While buses and trains from many larger train stations will take you to the airport, the distance still has to be covered, and getting there often isn’t cheap. Most domestic air travelers in Germany are businesspeople. For those who still want to fly, be on the lookout for airline offers of good deals on special routes.
