Wie hast du das geschafft?

Hallo liebe Leute! Herzlich willkommen zu meinem ersten Artikel beim DAAD Blogg. Zu beginnen sprechen wir über… DAAD Stipendiums.

Informieren alle meine Bekannte was einfach.

Was denkt ihr?

    Dear Victoria Radu,
Thank you so much for your helpful tips.
I am an Afghan Architect, and I recently got admitted to a University of Applied Science in master of Architecture program in Germany. However, I have not found a scholarship to finance my living costs in Germany and to get my visa yet.

Unfortunately, DAAD didn’t have scholarship for my country in field of Architecture, and my university also does not provide any scholarship. Please guide me how to find a master degree scholaeship soon.
    Thanks in advance

I was born and live in South Africa but also have German citizenship. Can I get assistance with a university and scholarship application through DAAD or are their services exclusively for international students?
    Thank you

    Hello
I want to study English Studies in Germany and i need a scholarship to fund my studies. I have checked all the data bases on DAAD,Study.in, and so many other websites but did not find a scholarship for my studies. do you have any advice? thanks in advance.

    Comment by Saeedeh created 08/04/2020 - 16:35

      Hi Saeedeh,

I guess, you already checked the website http://www.funding-guide.de and did not find a suitable scholarship there:-) So another option could be to have a look directly on the websites of the universities you would like to study at and have a look if they offer scholarships. Some universities have scholarships for certain study programmes. You can find programmes with English as the course language in the DAAD-database: http://www.daad.de/international-programmes.

    Comment by Rebecca created 25/05/2020 - 13:30

      Hi Rebecca,

the tuition fees at German universities are very low, and some universities charge no tuition fees at all. Most German universities are funded by the government. Normally students in bachelor’s programmes don’t have to pay tuition fees. Low tuition fees are charged, however, for master’s degree programmes. All students have to pay a semester contribution. For more information, see the section on money and costs: https://www.study-in-germany.de/en/plan-your-stay/money-and-costs/.
