The five "Christian-Wolff-Haus" buildings are located in the south of Marburg. A library, a communal TV room, club rooms a bar run by the student bar team make this a very sociable living infrastructure.
The city centre is four km away and easy to reach by bus or bicycle. By (motor) bike you can quickly get to the faculties or Cafeteria Lanhbergen via Sonnenblickallee. There are also buses.
The main building "Friedrich-Ebert-Straße 111" was the first to be built in 1962 and was taken over from the university league by the Student Services in 1977. The complex was extended by four more buildings located in the south of Marburg in 1990 and 1992.

The Studentenwerk Marburg offers the infrastructure necessary to support the compatibility of family life, studies and work. There are 70 places available in two all-day child care facilities, the „Universitätskindertagesstätte“ and the „Kita Erlenring“. Special deals for international students
In order to ease the start into studies, Studentenwerk Marburg together with the Referat für ausländische Studierende und Auslandsstudium (Office for international students and studies abroad) of the university offers a Service Package for International Students. This package includes a single room in a hall of residence and further services.

Only students of the Philipps Universität Marburg are illegible to live in a student residence. You have to prove your status as a student on moving in.
You can apply any time. You must, however, be able to prove your status as an enrolled student at the Philipps Universität Marburg on moving in. Exception: those applying for a "Service package for foreign students" must adhere to special deadlines.
To apply for a housing residence you first have to fill out the online application form and save this. Applications made by persons with disabilities can send medical certificates via post or email to firstname.lastname@example.org.

The International Office can guarantee a single room in a hall of residence for the duration of your stay.
