Nearest stop/station (public transportation):
The Uniklink and Kullenhofstraße bus stops (3A/B, 4, 5, 32, 33, 45, 70, 73, 80, und 103), from which buses 3B, 33 und 73 need 12 minutes to get to the Haltestelle Audimax - in the mornings a bus to the university leaves every six to eight minutes. Buses 25, 30, 35, 45,50 and 55 leave from the bus stop on the back of the building on Vaalser Strasse every five to 15 minutes, heading towards Vaals and the city centre

The residence is opposite from the University clinic, and around 3.5 kilometres away from the RWTH Aachen main buildings. 478 students live in eight, ten and 16 person flats across six houses. Every residence has his/her own lockable room with a surface area of 14.8 square metres.

Rent deposit
Upon signing of the rental contract a deposit of two months rent must be deposited. This deposit will be fully refunded at the end of the rental period if there is no damage to the room. Accrued interest will be invested in maintenance.

Duration of housing
Rental contracts are limited to three years and six months. A request for extension has to be filed eight weeks in advance of the expiration of the contract. In certain circumstances it might be possible to extend contracts for another year, please contact the Studierendenwerk for further information.

Shopping and infrastructure (supermarket, post office, bank, etc.)
There is a Hit supermarket five minutes away, with a bakery and flower shop, which is open until ten o'clock in the evening. Directly next to it are, amongst others pharmacies, opticians, doctors and a bank. A post office is opposite on Vaalser Straße.
