The security deposit consists of three monthly rents, however, no more than 300 EUR in total.
Duration of housing
The rental agreement is automatically extended by one semester up to a maximum period of six semesters. The cancelation of the contract has to be mentioned two months in advance. The six-semester-period can be extended upon request.

As long as there are not any differing arrangements between the student union and the tenant, the key handover for the rental object takes place Monday to Friday between 8am and 3pm. On weekends and bank holidays, there is no entitlement to key handover. Individual key collections outside these hours via authorised third parties have to be arranged with the administration beforehand.
