Overview

The student house Berliner Allee is located in the neighbourhood of the student-village “Studentensiedlung im Seepark”. Numerous shops, a good public transport connection and the closeness to the Seepark and the Dreisam are the advantages of the dormitory. The students live in spacious flat-sharing communities for three, four or six people, some with stunning views of the Black Forest and Schoenberg.

The tram stop is almost directly in front of the dormitory. The city centre can be reached in about 10 minutes by bike.

Rent deposit
Beginning with the rent period, a deposit of 400 or 500 EUR is due. This will be returned to you if your room is in good condition when you move out. The refund can take approx. four weeks.

Duration of housing
In order to give as many students as possible the opportunity to live in a dormitory, the rental contract period is limited to 6 semesters.

In special and explained cases it is possible to extend the rental contract till 8 semesters.

Special deals for international students

The Service Package can be ordered one semester at a time. It includes a furnished single room, health insurance (if needed) and other offers.

Students from abroad who have been placed in a dormitory room can contact the in their dormitory with any questions or problems they may have. At the beginning of each semester the assistants lead tours of the administrative offices and help take care of the first steps. During the semester the assistants offer an International Semester Programme with attractive events for German as well as foreign residents. The assistants are responsible for student integration into the dormitory community but not for accommodation organisation.
