Overview

The student residence in Charlottenburg is very popular because of the proximity to the Technical University and the University of the Arts. Other universities in Berlin are also easily accessible by bus and train.

The residence built in 1969 and in 2008 and 2013 redeveloped provides single apartments equipped with a small kitchen as well as shower and toilet. The bright spacious rooms include basic furniture.

Duration of housing
As a rule students can stay up to ten semesters in a dorm. In compliance with the contract type, the minimum period of residence is three months.

The period of occupancy can be extended by up to four semesters for foreign students, students with chronic illnesses or physical or mental impairments, single parents, for students close to finishing their degree and for part-time students.
