Overview

This dormitory, in the south of Hanover, was acquired and thoroughly renovated by the Student Administration Hanover in 2002. All rooms have access to the Internet, the fee is already included in the rent. The direct vicinity to the University of Applied Sciences, the tram and bus stops just in front of the entrance and the nearby green areas of the Masch and the Leineaue and the corresponding range of recreational activities make life in this dormitory very comfortable.

Rent deposit
The deposit will be withdrawn via direct debit together with the first month's rent. Its amount depends on the monthly rent (1.5 times the basic rent).

Duration of housing
Rentals are limited to six semesters/three years. In case of substantial reasons (illness, committee work, exams, occupation at the Self-Administration of the Dormitory, etc.) the time of occupancy may be prolonged for a maximum of three semesters.

In direct vicinity of the dormitory, there is a big supermarket at the Ricklinger Straße. At the Ricklinger Stadtweg and in the south of the Linden quarter you will find several fruit shops, bakeries, kiosks, etc.

Dormitory Management
The Dormitory Management is your contact for all formalities, questions and problems in regard to living in the dormitory. Please note: If you want to apply for a place in a Dormitory, please contact the Department for Student Residential Affairs (Jägerstraße 5), not the local Dormitory Management!

Self-Administration of the Dormitory (HSV)
The self-administration of the dormitory is elected from and by the group of the student residents. It keeps contact with the Student Administration, organises dormitory assemblies and parties, manages the students' pub and sometimes arbitrates in case of dispute. The HSV works on a voluntary basis. Suggestions and cooperation are always appreciated!
