Contest: Advent calendar challenge
It's never too early to think about Christmas, although this might feel rather strange at the height of summer! ;-) Participate in our Advent calendar challenge, and become part of our Study in Germany Advent calendar 2018. There are even prizes up for grabs!

Summer is reaching its peak, and we're already thinking about Christmas time. We know that this is pretty unusual, and perhaps you'll think we're crazy. However, Christmas will come sooner than you think, and we'd like to get you involved in the planning this year.
We're designing an interactive Study in Germany Advent calendar – and we need your help!
What goes through your mind when you think about Christmas in Germany? Have you ever spent the Christmas period in Germany? What did you particularly like about it? Is there something you're specifically looking forward to when you think about spending your first Christmas in Germany? Or do you maybe have a favourite German biscuit or pastry, or a favourite recipe for Christmas stollen? Is there a Christmas carol you really like listening to, or have you experienced something amusing, exciting or intriguing as far as Christmas in Germany is concerned? How do the Christmas celebrations in Germany differ from those in your native country? Is there a Christmas story you particularly like?
Tell us about it! We'd be delighted to hear your thoughts and memories! You can let us know in a number of different ways. Send us:
- a text
- a video
- a picture
It's important that you hold the usage rights to your entry, and transfer these to us. As a result, please complete this form and send it to us along with your entry.
If you do submit an entry, it would be great if you could tell us a little bit about yourself too, such as:
- Your name
- Where you come from
- When you came to Germany and how long you've been here (or were here)
- What you're studying
- Why you're sending us this entry
Send your entry to: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Your entry can be in Englisch or in German.
We need 24 entries, which will be compiled into an Advent calendar for all Study in Germany users, so that, each day, one of the tiny doors can be opened.
As a result, we'll choose 24 entries from among all the submissions we receive. If yours is one of them, you'll win a prize!
We look forward to receiving your entry! If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact us at: email@example.com!
The deadline for submissions is 31 October 2018.
