Are you studying in Germany? Have you found – or would you like to look for – things that come from your home country? Where can you find a bit* of your home country in Germany?

Show us a bit of your home country in Germany in a video!

OR

Did you – or would you like to – study in Germany? Have you found – or would you like to look for – things* in your home country that remind you of Germany or that come from Germany?

Show us a bit of Germany in your home country in a video!

* You can show us an object, dance, activities, culture, language, etc. Let your creativity run free!

Win an Introduction to Germany package, including:

  • An online German language university course from Deutsch-Uni Online
  • Three German books of your choice
  • A calendar of Germany

Participation:

Participation is open to all fans of our Facebook page. Simply like our page, take a video and send it to blog@daad.de (Subject: Competition)!

Together with the video, you should also send us an explanation of the story behind the object/activity. Please briefly introduce yourself and tell us where you come from and what you study or what you studied.

The deadline for entries is 15 September 2019.

How to enter:

The competition is in two stages:

1. First our editorial team will assess all the entries and choose three to five of them. This shortlist will be posted on the Study in Germany Facebook page.

2. Our online community will then vote. The video with the most likes by the final voting day wins!

IMPORTANT NOTE:

If you take a video, it is absolutely essential that you are aware of the corresponding video rights. Depending on the content, not all videos can be used or published without prior permission. If people are recognizable in your video, you must have their permission. Please ensure that they sign this consent form and that it is included in your submission.

When you send us your file, you automatically transfer all rights exclusively to us.

This competition is subject to German law.
