Summer schools

The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) operates a database with information on language and short courses at German universities. Most courses are targeted at international students, which is why they are offered during the winter and summer semester breaks. The language courses are offered by the universities themselves, occasionally in cooperation with external partners. You will find a broad spectrum of specialised courses, such as Regenerative Energies, European Studies, German Regional and Cultural Studies and German for Engineers.

Integration courses

A German language course is the most important part of an integration course. The language courses highlight various subjects, such as working and occupations, professional training, continuing education, shopping and recreation. You also learn how to write letters and e-mails, fill out forms and make telephone calls. To find courses in your vicinity, you can search the database operated by the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees.
