Overview

This housing complex is composed of three residential buildings which were constructed in 1976.
All three buildings underwent an asbestos renovation in the summer of 1993 and a modernisation in 1994 and 1995. The power required for heating was switched from electricity to natural gas, making the energy supply of the building significantly more environment friendly.

Rain water is collected from the flat roofs and stored in a cistern. Rain water from the cistern is led to the toilet flushing tanks of House A, allowing a saving of about 50% of drinking water for toilet flushing. Ancillary costs were reduced through the new technology.
