Overview

The housing complex in the former Olympic Women's Village, which was first built in 1972, offers almost 2,000 places to live. The housing complex is divided into a number of bungalows, which resemble a small independent village. In the other part are the high-rise buildings of the student union, from which you have a great view of the Alps in good weather. The third area, the hillside buildings, which were opened in 2022 after renovation, are also part of the Olympic Village.

Regardless of which type of accommodation you are offered here, all three variants have their own living space with a small kitchenette and a bathroom. Many families and single parents enjoy living here because of the close proximity to the Olympic Park. There are also a variety of offers in the village through the student association "Verein der Studenten im Olympiazentrum e.V.". It has been in existence for over 40 years. The office and several other facilities are located in the so-called "Community Centre" which is known everywhere as the "Old Mensa". It also houses the administrative office, the technical department and, since 2011, the advisory centre of the student union.
