Overview
The house was completed in winter semester 2017/2018 and is within sight of the main building of Leibniz University.
Consisting of two new buildings and one extensively modernised and refurbished house, it offers mainly single rooms with private bathrooms (with showers) in differently sized shared apartments with shared kitchens. Apart from that, there are also single rooms in hall communities with shared sanitary rooms/kitchens. All rooms have access to the Internet, the fee is already included in the rent.
Its central location and closeness to the public parks Welfengarten and Georgengarten render this student house especially attractive. The key university institutions are just around the corner.

Rent deposit
The deposit will be withdrawn via direct debit together with the first month's rent. Its height depends on the monthly rent (1.5 times the basic rent).
Duration of housing
Rentals are limited to six semesters/three years. In case of substantial reasons (illness, committee work, exams, occupation at the Self-Administration of the Dormitory, etc.) the time of occupancy may be prolonged for a maximum of three semesters.

Self-administration of the dormitory
The self-administration of the dormitory is elected from and by the group of the student residents. It keeps contact with the Student Administration, organises dormitory assemblies and parties, manages the students' pub and sometimes arbitrates in case of dispute. The HSV is working on a voluntary basis. Suggestions and cooperation are always appreciated!
