Overview

These halls of residence are new and instantly recognisable due to their unusual construction: Access to the apartments is via an external, roofed walkway. Instead of railings, these external corridors are bordered by a network of thin steel cables. To further increase the open feeling of the halls, the outside walls of the rooms are constructed entirely of glass, which also renders the rooms very well lit. Students at the Garching Campus can reach their university in less than five minutes with a bike.

Additional information
Important information for international students participating in an exchange programme (like ERASMUS): Exchange and programme students are not able to apply for accommodation online. This is because the Munich Student Union allocates rooms for these students directly to the universities. Exchange and programme students should get in touch with their university directly.
