Situated approx. ten minutes' walking distance from the RWTH and approx. ten minutes by bike from the RWTH extension buildings. The building, although central, is located on a green field site. The RWTH sports grounds are nearby.
The FAHO houses 88 students in 6-person and 5-person shared flats and single rooms. In the 5-person shared flats, the students share four bathrooms, two of which have a toilet and a washbasin and two of which have a shower and a washbasin. In the other flats, all rooms have a private bathroom (approx. 2.5 sqm).

Rent deposit
Upon signing of the rental contract a deposit of two months rent must be deposited. This deposit will be fully refunded at the end of the rental period if there is no damage to the room. Accrued interest will be invested in maintenance.

Duration of housing
Rental contracts are limited to three years and six months. A request for extension has to be filed eight weeks in advance of the expiration of the contract. In certain circumstances it might be possible to extend contracts for another year, please contact the Studierendenwerk for further information.
