Overview

The newest residence of the Studentenwek was opened in the winter semester of 2013/14. The building was painted in bright colours and offers 56-square-metre big double apartments.

Like the neighbouring two residences "Am Gardenkamp 51“ and "Am Gardenkamp 53-55“, this new building is located in a traffic-calmed cul-de-sac.

You can quickly walk to Campus Süd. Campus Nord is about two kilometres away. There are bus and H-Bahn stations close to the residence. Moreover, there is a supermarket and other places to get food. The city centre of Dortmund is six kilometres away.

Rent deposit
A deposit has to be paid which depends on the rent.

Duration of housing
The current maximum term of lease is eight semesters. After these four years, the rental agreement may be renewed by a max. of one year if all general conditions of eligibility continue to exist. Any term of lease spent at another publicly-funded housing facility will be deducted from the overall maximum term of lease.
