The student residence "Hardenbergstraße" is situated right in the middle of the campus of the Technical University of Berlin, making it extremely popular with students.

Closeness to the Technical University and to the University of the Arts creates high demand. The residence is also centrally located, with City West, Kurfürstendamm and Gedächtniskirche close by. Right next to the residence is the modern TU cafeteria and the student house "am Steinplatz".

Duration of housing
As a rule students can stay up to ten semesters in a dorm. In compliance with the contract type, the minimum period of residence is three months.

The period of occupancy can be extended by up to four semesters for foreign students, students with chronic illnesses or physical or mental impairments, single parents, for students close to finishing their degree and for part-time students.
