Additional information
The Studierendenwerk Karlsruhe has operated with student self-administration bodies (SV) in its residences for decades. Tenants are appointed to be student residence speakers, members of the economic committee and tutors by means of a voting process conducted during a tenants' assembly meeting. These tenants are committed voluntarily to the student residence and its tenants, and are responsible for leisure activities, events and information.

The rooms in the residence halls are in great demand - especially at the beginning of the semester - and, therefore, are usually fully booked. The waiting list for a room is, unfortunately, very long, so it is strongly recommended that you apply for a room as early as possible. Applications can be submitted up to six months before the desired move-in date.
