GARDENS AND GARDENS AND MORE BEAUTIFUL GARDENS!

Baden-Baden is a town in southwestern Germany’s Black Forest, and around 25 minutes by train from Offenburg.

It was the beginning of the hard-to-bear summer heat when we visited this town, and I have to say that took a lot of the fun out of it, when you’d get crazy thirsty and tired every 30 steps you’d walk.

The first thing that I noticed about the town was there were children everywhere! In no other place have I ever seen so many children. The next thing, of course, were the endless lanes of beautifully shaped trees and flowers, fountains, and houses. And horses! It was definitely the classic holiday-house kind of town.

We visited the Kurgarten, Lichtentaler Allee, Old Town, Trinkhalle, Friedrichsbad and one of the art museums, along with a couple of other places I can’t remember the names of, but overall I’d say we did well in that scorching heat.☀️

We also visited the city center, but thus far city centers of German towns have looked pretty much the same to me, to the point you don’t even have to ask anyone around if this is the city center, you just know it is.😎

Lovely town, lovely trip🌸 🌻🌷🌾🌼🌹🌿🍀
